Reappraisal or just another example of a lack of creativity?

The UK creative programming industry has been under threat for years, with only BBC worldwide really taking it to the Americans

Now I am all for funny viral videos, but am not so sure this is really going to deliver on the brief (assuming its meant to drive reappraisal).



Surely stimulating greater creative would be a better strategy in getting British programming to be more appreciated!

Would like to see a more collaborative web 2.0 strategy in driving creativity within the industry personally?

What are your thoughts about the state of the UK creative industries?
